At the time of initiation, a prospective member:

- Must be 18 years of age

- Eligible to pledge according to University Rules

- Enrolled in an Engineering curriculum leading to a Bachelors Degree or higher.

- Have an overall GPA at least high enough for graduation

- Not within 6 months of graduation

- Not within first quarter of freshman year (You CAN still rush/pledge as a first quarter freshman!)

- Membership is only granted by unanimous choice of the current members of the chapter
